There has been a rash of romance scam emails being reported all over the internet, where the spammer is using forums email/private messaging functions to send this kind of message:

We have identified this same spammer registered on our forums yesterday, and were banned this morning. If you see this on any forum, just know it's a scam and do not reply to it...... as you would be " looking for love in all the wrong places"
