This is merely a question out of curiosity. I am way beyond the need for "Title" having had my share over the years. But I am curious. I notice many profiles with "Senior Member" included. A good number of these joined the Forum well after I did, based on the date shown. My question is, how are the Senior Members determined and who so designates? Thanks..

Hmmmm.... interesting.
You have two waybeck2018's in your identification. The second one is where they put the 'senior' 'junior' status, but I can't find where in the user cp you would have entered the second waybeck.

It has to do with their number of posts, not how long they've been a member.

As I recall, the Jr. / Senior tag is dependent on your number of posts.

What do you mean “ two waybeck2018's in your identification”? That doesn’t compute for a long-time moderator.
BTW, any member can hard code his/her title in the User CP.

In the User CP under Edit Your Details, in the second section there's a field for Custom User Title. If you leave it blank the forum uses the default titles. If you fill it in the forum uses whatever you type in there.
P.S. Once you've set it in order to reset it you have to check the Reset box.

I think it is referring to the way it appears in the posts. It shows the name "waybeck2018" like everyone else, but under that, where we are discussing "Senior Member", etc, instead of senior member it repeats "waybeck2018".
So by comparison mine shows:
Semperfi24
Senior Member
The user in question shows:

OK... so his member name is Waybeck2018
and he’s coded his title as Waybeck2018.
No problem... it’s still just one member. I was stopped at a red light on my way to the lake and couldn’t process the two identifications.
My two identifications are

Thank you! That's the information I was looking for.
I think that with over 500 posts, he'll be a 'senior'.

Gotta be less than that - this is only my 348th or something.

Probably my error when I first filled this out many moons ago. Thanks for all the help in getting the question answered.

This may help on things you can change/customize on your account.
https://www.forestriverforums.com/fo...3_user_profile
You can also use the custom title feature as Waybeck2018 has done and set your own user title. If not, then the forum will default to the post count/title. As shown in the screenshot, you can also reset your user title to the defaults if you wish.
