Spammers

I have noticed several spammers this morning on the site. We will be banning them as soon as we see them. However, if any of you see any posts that are questionable, please report them to us so we can handle them

Thanks

I think I know what a "spammer" is, but I am not sure what to look for as being suspicious. Would it look like an advertisement?

Yes, it will probably be something totally unrelated to the subject matter of the site. When in doubt, hit the report button and we can analyze it.

The "Report Post" button is a small triangle with an exclamation point in the middle (see below) and is outlined in red. It is in the upper right corner of each post made in a thread. Simply click on that red triangle and follow the directions to report a suspicious post.

A sure sign of a spam post is that most of these morons can't put together a simple sentence in English, which likely means they are out of Asia.

Also, never click on any links that may be in their signature line. It may at the very least send you to a porn site, and worse, could send you to a virus site. Be sure your antivirus protection stays up to date, even if you have a Mac.
