Suggestions?

I don't know where to put this.

Is there somewhere here where we can make suggestions? If not, is it possible to make one?

IF so, here's my first suggestion. The slot that shows the User Name when someone posts should have a mandatory section showing the type of unit they have. There are so many questions the answers to which depend on the type of unit, and the OP never says.

My second suggestion is a mandatory section in same spot showing at least the GENERAL area that they are from.

My third suggestion is that somehow the "new posts" or other spots here, be broken down into MH, Fifth Wheel, and Bumper Pull.

Thanks for the suggestions, and you did post in the correct place to offer such. As far as mandatory things go, some people do not like sharing everything and we can respect that. Members should only share what "they" feel comfortable sharing, not what "others" feel they should share. That's why we have it set up the way it is, and it's voluntary, not mandatory.

Even though it may make offering advice harder without knowing a particular model/make of RV, our community does a superb job of getting past that and helps out everyone.

All posts are actually categorized into subforums/topics which has the three aforementioned by you and more. I'm not sure I am following you exactly on this, in case you are meaning something else. There are many subjects here on FRF that would not fit into any of those three topics (campground reviews/advice, recipes, grills, gps, software, events, and many many more)

I just meant the "new topics" thing on the right being subdivided.......

but that was late at night and your answers make more sense than my suggestions, so.......a big, hearty "never mind". LOL
