Sunseeker 2860DS slides

I have a 2013 Sunseeker 2860. My slides are out further at the bottom that at the top by an inch and half or more. So when the slide comes in , the top contacts first then the bottom continues in til the motor ratchets. That last inch and a half makes the whole slide raise up inside till the bottom of the slide contacts the side wall.
My question is, is this normal? My dealer says yes. It looks stupid from the outside.

Thanks for your thoughts.
