Even any remote intrest in the back room?
War room if you will.

Maybe add brake controllers and exhaust brakes to the list.

I have always looked at my vehicles as tools to get me somewhere never as a hobby to work on and look at. Now that I have started camping I am finding myself more and more paying attention to tow vehicles and how I can make mine better. I would love to see this addition to the FRF

I just ordered a set of Super Springs for my 2007 Toyota Tundra. Will have them installed in about 4 days. Plan on leaving next week for OK, KS, and NE for a 2 month long turkey hunt. Pulling a 2013 Windjammer 3008W. Will let you know how it works.

I know this is off topic, you'll understand, but talked to a farmer, for whom I am adding a wraparound porch, and got permission to trky hunt this yr. New places are good,
Good luck on you're trip that sounds awesome!
Back to topic... Good idea Turbs!
I always have questions,and occasionally,an answer!

Turbs, you do know that the FRF and IRV2 Forums are owned by the same people? Should make it easy to do. IF they want to.

I guess I’m the only one that doesn’t like the idea of adding a truck forum. I don’t visit FRF to see what’s going on in the FR Lifestyles motorcycle sub-section and I don’t visit the veteran’s sub-section. I visit FRF for one reason only, the exchange of information with other RVers about RVs. I believe that’s why all of us logon daily and spend hours on the forum. I truly believe that FRF is the best RV Forum on the Internet and I don’t think adding a truck forum will improve it. I mean really, how hard is it to open another window or two on your computer with your favorite truck forum displayed and then switch back and forth as desired?
There is already a sub-forum titled Towing, Hitches & Toads where folks get answers on truck issues as they relate to RVs. I personally don’t see a need for anything more. This is supposed to be an RV Forum isn't it?

I see your point, and honestly there are so many truck forums out there, you might ask yourself, why bother. Of course, with popupportal specializing in pop-ups, maybe we should get rid of the pop up pages, I mean people already have a place to go to get advice on those. Likewise, why have these sub-forums for motorhomes, I mean there are already tons of places to get information on those...
You see how the opposite argument goes. I think Turbs point is that the people around here a unique sub-sect to other truck based forums: we are people who use our truck tow (often very large) trailers. Our experience is far different from those who do not tow camping trailers, and that allows the existing members here to offer practical real world advice on very similar situations.
For example, I can post on the Ford Truck Enthusiast site about pulling a 38 ft trailer, but very few people there will have any experience there with a trailer that size. yet many people here have trailers that size.
Ultimately the answer to your question is this is exactly the right place for those topics.

Has anyone ever expressed intrest in a tv mod and repair section?
I hate going to "other" forums to research tow vehicle mods and repairs.
Seems to me Probably 80 percent of us "tow" our camping units and a mod and tech thread would be great.
I almost always go to "off" topic for my upgrades and tech on my tv.
I've seen tons of threads on mpg and how to get more.
as well as air bags, 5th wheel hitches, shocks, tuners, MAINTENANCE etc etc
Thoughts?

Ron - so, I think we already have what you're after. There's a forum for:
Towing, Tow Vehicles, Hitches & Toads

Wow, guess I don't really know what's involved to do what Turbs is proposing, I just thought.... well, we would just....ah....talk about towing, towing mods, and share experience. But guess we kinda already do that. Confused!

As bad as I hate to agree with the Iowagian...
I think Turbs has a good idea that should be acted upon.
Towing an rv is a unique situation that needs to be addressed here on the best rv forum on the web.
