I tried going to both links and got the same Invalid Key message.
I get it all the time in the Green FR app.

Bikendan, go to www.viglink.com/optout thru your device browser (ie: chrome) then you will see a button (Disable VigLink). Click once then go back to forum. Links should work. You will need to do this step after you reboot your device. A bit of a pain! GOOD LUCK!

I was able to find the page (directly through the browser) and disabled it. I have rebooted my tablet and it's still disabled, so it may be just a once and done. I saved the link just in case.

You won't be able to follow the link from within the app or you'll get the error message. Copy and paste the link in your mobile browser and disable. Worked for me.
I hope whoever writes the green FR app fixes this. What we are doing is just a band-aid.

Not sure if FR app is the issue. The problem is with VigLink. From what I understand is, they need to fix it! Just another way to get revenue.

You are right another way to get revenue.
VigLink's problem or FRF's problem, someone made the decision to monitor all clickable links (or keywords) so they could analyze where we 'might' want to spend our money and concentrate on more ads from those people... and now it has become... our problem!

The underlying issue here is a code change in tapatalk; the platform that drives the FRF app. Tapatalk is used by many forums either as a custom app (like ours) or as a standalone product. To date we have not been able to effect a change, although we have contacted the developer (repeatedly).

Neither do I and besides that, there have been reports in this very thread that those who do use TapaTalk, are NOT having issues.
See post #7 from wmtire.

If you are using the FRF app, then you are using tapatalk. We run a branded version for the site that has a few extra features but it's still basically tapatalk

Thank you Janet H. I am aware of the issues with TapaTalk. I hope that they fix it soon. Until then all we can do is disable VigLink. It is just a bandaid but it does allow some of us to use the forum for its purpose.

I have found that disabling it here also fixed my other Tapatalk based apps. At least you only have to do it once for the device.

Unfortunately the work around discussed earlier in the thread has stopped woking. The green FR app is effectively useless. Here's what pops up now.
Can anyone from the site team let the app developers know it doesn't work?

That's what I get on all the Tapatalk apps to which I subscribe. I think they are trying to improve security but it locked down so tight it doesn't work for anyone.
I have been able to click the open in browser option and get to the thread there. When you click the link, it still has a security message before you are linked. That's why I'm convinced that security enhancements are causing the problem.
My work around is awkward and a pain so most of the external links are not worth the trouble.

I'm getting the same thing 5picker is showing.
I'm also using the green app.

Looks like an update just came out but I don't know if it's addressed. I do know that now it wants your location.

The APP started doing that here after an Android security update sometime last week. Version is still listed as 6.0.1 however.
