Since I am from Philadelphia, PA, originally, I am proud to announce that my favorite Founding Father, Benjamin Franklin, has been widely quoted as saying, "Beer is proof that God loves us, and wants us to be happy."

It must be true. I have a sweatshirt that says the same thing.

I just cannot stomach Yuengling Lager anymore. That was all I drank in college, and now the flavor makes me vomit.

I'm sorry...you mistakenly posted about your colored water in a BEER thread. Just teasing. Cheers!

That is most excellent! I plan on doing the same. Only problem is the kids...breweries are NOT fun for 5 year old boys. Being from CA, have you visited Anderson Valley? It's a bucket list brewery for me...one day I will get out there to Booneville.

Sir...you and I should be best friends. Have you had anything from Tired Hands in PA? If not, we should do some trading! Treehouse was fresh out of Julius when I visited, and I hear rave reviews about it...

I will most certainly have to check out Magnify. Thank you for the suggestion!!

The internet told me the same thing, so yes indeed, it must be true!

Nice! I do a little home brewing too. I just finished a keg of Belgian Dubbel that I brewed not too long ago. That's actually a great idea...brew beer to bring with us on these excursions. Genius!!

Now that am retired, going to start doing my own brewing. A friend of mine ,who is also a home brewer, is a plant breeder at a major hop company in Washington.

Add Warped Wing from Dayton Ohio to the list. They have a lot of great beers.

Taking home brew camping has been easy with the 2.5 gallon torpedo kegs and small CO2 cartridges.
Fits in a cooler and takes less space then a case of beer.

I've been there many times. Grew up near there., when in high school.
Have camped in the area a lot too. Always went to Anderson Valley.
By the way, Booneville has a unique history and a secret language of their own. Some still speak "Boontling".

My favorite amber ale when we adopted this pup a few years ago was by Anderson Valley... hence his name, BrewDog Boont

Craft beers???

No offense guys and girls, but as long as Miller High Life, the champagne of bottle beer, is available, no off the wall brewskis for me, lol! Hard to beat professional brewed beer! Hmmmm, did I just stir the pot???

Quebec beers: best in the world!

If you are ever in the province of Québec, Canada, some private brewers won international medals.
Unibroue is one to try: https://www.unibroue.com/en/our-beers
Enjoy!
