Smile Full timing? Maybe, if not too far away!

DW and I are considering FT it. We live in western SD. We have 3 adult kids, all with families of their own. One in Neb, one in Wisconsin, and one in SD. DW cannot be away from them for too long. Considering our location, where do you recommend we winter that would be the least amount of distance from the kids, and yet not freeze up the TT? I would also like to Workamp if possible.

2006 F250 diesel.

Thanks for any suggestions, the people in this forum are the best!

About all I can suggest is to just head due South toward NM and TX until you hit weather that is favorable to you. To get under the cold snaps though is still going to be quite a distance from SD.

Something to consider might be to winter up and alternately invite the kids and grandkids down for a long weekend. They might enjoy an excuse to road trip someplace new and warm and might keep the DW happy without having to trek up and down.

Just an idea.
