If your referring to the KOA at the Fancy Gap, exit 8 off of I-77, yes, we've stayed there 5-6 times in the past 3 years. For us it's a quick long weekend getaway, about 4 hours drive.
Beautiful park, spotless, very friendly staff. Almost every spot is shaded in the lower areas. We get one of the many pull thru's. Plenty of space between sites. We actually try to get one of the spots, #52-58. Not as much shade, but very quiet as it's not a "thru" street.
Highly recommend it.

Wife and I stayed at the KOA in fancy gap. The host were some of the nicest people I've ever encountered. We loved how close it was to the parkway, and your only about 30 minutes away from Mayberry! If your into Andy Griffith.
Will definitely be backClick image for larger version

Been there many times. Going again in May this year. Nice park. We will go up the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Morrisette Winery for lunch and perhaps to spend some $$ on wine.

Well we went there this past weekend. Had a blast. We are going back for sure. Really loved the ride on the parkway. The parkway is always fun.
