I hate to admit it, but we've slept in the RV in the driveway before a trip.

Research, plan, research, plan, revert to your original plan just before you leave it was the right one to begin with !

My question is: how do I contain myself in the meantime? I am "chomping at the bit" ready to go.
Get some good roof cleaner and clean the top, then get some aero 303 go over roof for best rv protection, then wash sides and do same with 303. For me 72 yrs old this burns a week. Pressure test water for leaks, if been closed all winter I clean inside completely and set off a bug bomb just in case then start loading long before leaving that way using a list I can checking to make sure I have everything I might need. Oh check all electrical and LP systems. Will make trip alot more easier.

When I am restless, bored or itching to get going (which is often) I clean a cupboard or roam the big box stores looking for organization ideas. It is all trip-prep I call it!

Sometimes, you just have to driveway camp; my wife thinks I'm crazy, and I really don't care if she's right!

With all this suggested research and planning, they will be too exhausted to enjoy their trip! And that's before they leave the driveway!

If you know where you want to end up out west, get a GPS and try to program it the way you want to go.....not the way it want's to go.....you can burn a week up real easy, sitt'n down!

I'm almost there! I got a remote job which sucks but at least I'm now earning some money before we go. Also, I booked a four day cruise just before the trip to pass a few more days.

And I'm defrosting the fridge tomorrow- sounds like a blast.
