We camped basically every single weekend between April 15 and October 15. Don't know for sure how many nights as there were a few long holiday weekends in there as well as a couple of full weeks that we took for vacation.
Of course our camper is on a seasonal site so all we have to do is load up the car with some clothes and a little bit of food on a Friday afternoon/night, drive for about 45 mins and we are there.

Would like every month or at least every six-weeks prior to retirement--mostly within state at state parks. Retirement coming up and so things will change after that. Just need more time for cross-country trips which once retired will be within reach.

Our season runs 4/1 to 11/1
This summer we only missed 5 weekends all season - we love our seasonal site and our camping neighbors are more like family

The poll can be misleading....
See my signature- last year we only "went out" about 4 times but 2 of those times were a month each!!

IMO a much better poll would ask how many days did you camp this year.

Only 2 trips so far for total of 2655 miles, 32 days. Not finished. Have 1 more trip for sure. Having to navigate around Thanksgiving and Christmas, grandson's marriage, granddaughters bday, birth of first great grand son. Some days I just go sit in camper and drool.

NJKris,
Thanks for starting this poll. It's a great conversation starter for those of us that are in the "off season"!
My season this year ran from April 1st thru November 18th. Had freezing temps for both the first and last trips, so I feel we maximized our season. Trips range from a few 2 nighters, a bunch of 3 or 4 night outings and a 5 night music festival.
This year we logged 41 nights in the camper, and pulled it over 4000 miles.
We like the state park campgrounds in Ohio, as well as PA, NY and MI. A majority of our trips are in state parks, but a few private campgrounds, resorts and RV parks are sprinkled in.
We enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and kayaking as well as exploring nearby cities, breweries, wineries and live music.
I'm looking forward to spring. But, for those of you still out there on the road, safe travels!
Marc

How often do you RV? Year 2019
Our best Campin year yet...185 nights, just over half the year.
Two months in the sunshine state. Then an amazing camp host assignment in Glacier National Park. Spent 3 weeks touring on the way and 2 weeks coming home.
Lovin our Forester and being retired !

We have a permanent spot at the lake. We set it up April 1st, and bring it home October 25. So we go every weekend except holiday weekends, that is when all super drunks come out. I like my beer on the weekends, but not a fan of the totally wasted people.

About 24 full weeks total for this year. Could be off by a few either way. But close enough.

Voted in the poll. Our details:
One local 17 night trip went to work from RV
One local 9 night trip
One 2500 mile 9 night trip
Many 3-4 night local weekend trips went to work from RV
Total of 77 nights spent between April 1 and November 17. 8 nights in paid private campgrounds. The rest in thousand trails campgrounds. Got our moneys worth out of thousand trails this year.

So lets see, this year I will have been out 15 or 16 times. One of the beauties of living in Northern California, Chico to be exact.
