YAY .... first time out since Feb for us (& we go every month for a bit). Missed 2 music festivals & a big fishing trip but just spent a great few days at Otter Springs Park & campground in Trenton, FL.
Very nice permanent residents (one helped when we managed to lock ourselves out of truck). Able to social distance with full hookup and no one on the adjacent site which would have someone opening up towards us.
A mile or so off the Suwanee River and only a second mag spring so river backed up into the spring at 6-8" / day clouding the spring pretty bad but still swam (even though we watched the gator go by over morning coffee). Able to hike, bike, kayak & see a whole bunch of wildlife (sturgeon, deer, wild hogs, red velvet ants, gators, tons of birds). They do have a large enclosed pool but left that to the families with kids during this time.
Gonna try to fish next month somewhere ....

Stop #3 on our 6 stop trip - Dunes Harbor Family Camp in Mears Michigan. Lake view. This is a very nice campground run by a local church. Alcohol is prohibited but we are here only one night. we did a sunset dune Jeep tour of the sand dunes.

Raccoon Holler in Glendale Springs NC

Big campground with majority of seasonal long term sites. Wi-Fi and AT&T cellular not the greatest. We have Verizon which is good.

This is close to West Jefferson and Boone NC for day trips. Plenty of hiking close by as well.

We are on site 130

Pics are 1st day set up

Spring field state park

Just outside of Anderson SC .
It's an ok place for a weekend getaway , we had to reserve a spot a month ahead of time , spots aren't real level but for the money , can't really complain.
There are much nicer camp grounds out there, but it's close to home and just needed some relaxation time .

Hi,

Given the need to have my wife at the cancer center four days a week for chemo (which sadly will continue to totally deplete her for the rest of the summer), here's my spot.

FWIW.

Sorry to hear that and tell the wife....Good luck with the treatment. I know from a family member, it's no walk in the park.

Chemo is no walk in the park Rich, I know.

Wishing your wife all the best through this terrible illness.
