My spot of land

We are at Roebling Road Raceway in Bloomingdale Ga. outside of Savanah.
Been coming here for >30 years. Not the quietest site but plenty of entertainment watching the races. 👍👍👍

Managed to spend some time at Fort DeSoto county park in Tierra Verde FL last week. Enjoyed swimming, fishing, bicycling, hiking & took the BEST EcoTour kayak trip with a family owned business launching just outside of the park (https://islandkayaktours.com/).

Disappointed in care in the campground - our site was in desperate need of the 8" of gravel / shell that was overdue to be put down (ground was slick & I hit it only once luckily) and grass on site was as tall as the electrical & water hookups. For being such a difficult park to get a reservation there were many open sites where maintenance could have been done easily. Also discovered that the local residents prefer the dog campground for the ease of launching a kayak from the site ... park should consider opening up other parts of the campground for pet owners without kayaks. All said we would definitely go back again.
First pic was our site, sunset from our site, sunrise at the fishing pier, north beach & shell key (on our kayak trip) & our kayak trip (with manatees, cormorants, sharks, dolphins and more)

St. Vrain State Park, Longmont, Colorado. Site 81. Smoke from the fires further west are making for some dramatic sunsets.

Thank you! Tonight is our last night here. We're headed to the Black Hills tomorrow for a few more nights of boondocking, then headed off to Yellowstone.

Awesome...whee are you camping in Yellowstone? We camped and Madison and hit the secret swimming hole...it was awesome...Jackon lake in Grand Teton is also worthwhile.

We're staying at an RV park in West Yellowstone. That's not exactly my first choice in accommodations, but between Covid, construction, and late planning, there wasn't anything available in Yellowstone. In the Grand Tetons, we'll either be boondocking just outside the park in a few spots we've scouted out online or within the park. We'll see once we get there.

Thanks for the recommendations

Got to stay a week at Lake Trinity in Northern California in August. Met friends and family who have been maintaining health precautions.

The trip was great until a wheel bearing went out just 60 miles from home. I don't think it likes 10 hours at 104 degrees from Sacramento to Camp Pendleton.

Last trip in our 2016 Wildwood X-Lite 231RKXL. Finally bought a class A which was our retirement goal.Click image for larger version

We're now in the Black Hills boondocking near the top of a mountain at 7000 feet. The camper is rocking with the cold wind blowing so hard.

We're here one more night, then off to Montana tomorrow.

Just electric, some 30, some 50 with water sprinkled in around the loop.
