We used to live here before we bailed on California, when we retired. It's a very small campground and sites are right on top of each other. But the location is great. I used to surf here quite often.

It’s just down the road. Ask any of the snowbirds there.
You won’t regret it.
BTW......Cash only, but worth it.

This was my first camp site of the year. January 3rd 4th 5th in south central Nebraska. I traded the old Jayco off on a 06 Cardinal and haven't been able to get out in February. I will be going out again sometime the next couple weeks.

Here's the new site at Honeycomb CG (TVA) just north of Guntersville, AL and the view of the lake from the camper.

We moved from Thousand Trails Orlando to Lazy Days outside of Tampa, FL (Seffner address).
But, apparently I messed up and made my reservation for Sunday instead of Saturday. Even better, when she figured out we were a day early, she quickly checked and they were 100% occupied that night. I apologized and told her that we'd gladly roll out to a Walmart or local boondocking for the night since I messed up.
As luck would have it, a spot opened up and she was able to put us in a site for 1 night and then move over to our other site for the remaining 9 nights we were there. This is only our 3rd time or so of moving once we're at a campground. The Setzers don't move.... but we did this time.
The first spot was #286. The spots are exactly as long as they say which means there's no room for parking vehicles except in the roadway. Everyone does it, but it also meant I moved my truck more times in 9 nights than I ever have.
The spots are also 90 degrees to the road, which makes for some harsh backing in. But, we got it done and it wasn't awful.
I don't know how long the pad was, but we needed every bit of it and parked within about 6" of the fence behind us.
An ice cream truck drives through daily!

The next morning, we moved over to our spot about 10:30 once friends told us it was open.
I don't have a screenshot of the speed test, but AT&T service was subpar there. Not quite terrible, but not always enough data to send pictures via text or stream anything. Fortunately, we had a very busy week and didn't need much. Verizon was better but still not great.
LazyDays was wonderful for our rally of families. They went above and beyond to make sure the rooms were setup for us, did a movie night, and treated us well. It was expensive to stay, but worked well for our rally.

Our new campsite #77 at Gulf State Park Alabama. A little rainy the last couple of days but still better than home.

This is a really nice CG with tons of hiking trails, lots of playgrounds, a farm interpretive center, and fishing along the river and lakes. All sites are pull-thru! We will do some exploring tomorrow.

We stayed there last summer. Didn’t get to explore much as it rained the 4 days we were there. We plan on trying again this summer.

Frank Jackson State Park - Opp, Alabama
This is one of my favorite camp grounds. We will be here for the next 4 days then back home 😩😩
It offers trails, fishing, a clean bathhouse and beautiful views.
