Arrived at our new CG (Candy Hill CG) just outside of Winchester, VA. It's nice, but it's private and a little pricey for what we are used to. Here's a pic of the site:

Thanks! LOL... I see why!

We visit Candy Hill several times each summer. It a short hop for us on a Friday night.

A little pricey but the folks that own it are super nice and they really do try to keep up with the changing times of campground ownership. (example:wifi)

We loved fall Creek falls a few years ago. Hope your stay at the new spot is good too.

Great night camping last night ... having serious withdrawal with the cancellation of our second month of great music festivals cancelled so we set up in our backyard.... for real

My closest neighbors are all adults only in their homes and obeying quarantine so two of the couples going crazy from current cancer care restrictions brought their own chairs & drinks & joined us with proper distancing from the bonfire for quality conversation without a computer screen app.

Really needed that time and highly recommend it! DH & I even enjoyed our traditional Irish coffee together this morning although we missed all those who normally pull up a chair & join us.

I went corona camping. I got a lot done today.

Dewinterized and sanitized
Smoked a pork butt
Checked AC and cleaned out dust bunnies
Installed my victron energy monitor
Put an oil lift on the basement door to hold it open.
Had drinks on the driveway with neighbors and fire pit.
Cleaned kitchen bath and microwave as well as cabinets.
Cleaned the awning
Mowed the yard in between

Tomorrow I will condition all the seals
Eternabond the roof
And wash it.Click image for larger version

That's funny. I did that the first few weeks. Now I am going stir crazy...[emoji2957]

I did the seals today, wash n waxed (the combined deal) the truck and trailer and cleaned interior of the truck. Eternabond is next on the list today. After I get the parts next week (ordered for delivery) I am adding the fence post cover and gutter mod for the stinky slinky. There is still an army Corp lake nearby that is open and things are opening upon two weeks. I will make a reservation with them to get out into a real site even if I end up cancelling it will still make me feel better that I am trying to get out.

Current couch view... in the Okanagan Valley, BC. Allegedly this park is closed to recreational campers (full timers only) but we don’t yet have clarity if we can stay past the May long weekend. If not, we will have to swap this out for a view of the Rockies...

Gulf shores state park, site 261. Campground is full but really this place is big and spaced out. Were going to bike ride and walk the beach, safely I might add.Click image for larger version

03 May. Stayed a second night at Fox Run. Moved to site 34. It’s a great site that overlooks the still frozen lake.

It’s also the same site we were at last fall, for our last trip of 2019. When it rained us out.

Headw out to Helen GA for 6 days of camping at Yonah Mountain camp ground. Was in site 37 till Thur then found out had to move due to Georgia Power coming in Friday to replace over head power line which where directly over my camper. So we moved to site 26 for rest of week. Weather was great most all week. Had one day of rain. Went to bring the awning in Wed for storm and got almost all the way up when motor dies. Had to manually put in rest of way. Great trip other wise. Later RJD
