Hey man. I was in #12. On the cheap end. Lol. Everything else was taken.
Only bad thing was bad neighbors. The closer to the highway you get, the fewer people will be walking and riding bicycles through your spot going to the fishing pond and hard surface driveways. Lower numbers nearest road. They are grass covered gravel with electric, water and cable. Great view. Enjoy. Call in to Fisherman's Galley restaurant on LA 6 and order the small catfish dinner. 5 filets with couple of sides and hush puppies. Really good. You pick it up inside.

Just returned from a couple of days at Dreher Island State Park SC.

First visit earlier this year. Some idiot ran a generator in the middle of the nite??? Why? we had shore power. Far enough not to bother me. Then we have the people that let there dogs off leash.

Mostly quite this time. Except for an hours worth of Rap music in the middle of the night from a boat offshore.

Had his running lites off........ Ahem.

I must be getting too old to deal with inconsiderate people.

But a nice time nevertheless.

Our first trip since March 13th when we in Colorado and all the Ski Resorts closed the 14th. Long drive back to Texas. We're both teachers and our Daughter is an RN at a hospital downtown Austin,TX. She called and told us she landed 4 days off and wants to "GO!" Short notice but we found a sport for Saturday/Sunday in Kerrville, TX at By The River RV Park and Campground. All amenities were closed, but they had a printed menu of different items they'd deliver to your spot before 5pm, like ice, wood, etc. Our site, 19, backed right up to the Guadalupe River. Birds, water, campfires. We started to feel alive again just for a moment.

Side yard camping

Really wish I was at an actual campsite but the kids wanted to go camping. So the side yard will have to do. Airing it out now and will close it up and run the AC. It’s getting pretty hot here in NW Florida. Have a great weekend y’all

Gallagher Lake, BC. Still closed to the public, only about 15% full right now. Victoria Day weekend in Canada, usually the first weekend they are full of weekend campers. Click image for larger version

Camp COVID 19

another couple of great weekends social distance 'camping' in our backyard (to replace our week long fishing trip we are supposed to be on right now). New hobby of counting satellites each night out there. That and collecting empty crowlers on the property the next morning .

Took a side trip down to the (very empty & distance enforced) beach ... police presence & changing in cars just like high school days all over again! Determined to make (spiked) lemonade out of these dang lemons!!!

Cheers

Inquiring minds need to know...
If it's closed to the public, how did it get to be 15% full? That's a lot of camp hosts!

Most of the year round campgrounds closed in mid March. The seasonal ones have not opened yet. This particular park was able to stay open, but only for full timers. We’ve been here since leaving Arizona just after St Patrick’s day.

Our summer home [emoji169] first weekend spent at the River. We got a lot of mini projects done. Now it's ready for enjoyment whenever we like.

Second photo is of breakfast cooking on the Blackstone while enjoying the view of the South Saskatchewan River. Click image for larger version
