Smokemont campground, Great Smoky Mountains National Park
We spent the 4th of July weekend at this campground. Beautiful setting, peaceful campsite.

Wow that was a long drive from DE. Great pics. Check out the Great Sand Dunes if you have time. Not much around there but still amazing to see.

Click on the seven (7) right down there ==> #7
and follow the instructions in that post. It's in a sticky thread that explains how to execute forum functions.

Why yes it was a long drive with stops in Oh, Il, Ka, NM, CO and now in Wy, just felt that was the best place to share. I mean what's wrong with a 29 hour drive to surprise your son with a supply of Yuengling and scrapple.

Buccaneer State Park Waveland, MS site # 56. The small pool in the back of the park was closed but the wave pool was open. Had a nice breeze most of the weekend but it was still hot! I did get to try out my new Blackstone and I love it!

Show 2020 camp spots Morro Bay CA

Spent the past 4 days at Morro strand RV park Morro bay CA and while the site was small we share enjoyed the cool central coast weather and Morro Bay Area is fantastic and beautiful. Drove up the coast to Ragged point .
Park had good social distance protocols and we were sure to social distance.

Red Coconut, Fort Myers Beach

YAY .... able to escape once again for a few days. Need to have full hook up to keep us safe as possible (COVID is present in all bodily waste) so went ahead and semi - glamped at Red Coconut on Fort Myers Beach, FL. Small sites but not really spending much time on site (would be on my site if landed a front row - was decent from second row).
Nearby seafood market still selling fresh caught so it was a great grilling & beach weekend - even brought the blender for frozen fresh fruit drinks on the beach. Able to walk the beach at sunrise & sunset each day with our final sunset accompanied by music, dancing, kids laughter .... it was just what the soul needed!

Strangest encounter I ever had to park was at Red Coconut. They insisted they would park my trailer so I finally gave in and unhooked so they could move it 20feet into my pull through site. [emoji16] I wasn’t in the beach side.
Love the campground!

Here’s a couple more from our epic summer trip:

- Whispering Hills RV Resort in Georgetown, KY. The Laredo is friends of ours. We had to cut this one short and go back home to Orlando due to the passing of my brother-in-law

- Met those same friends in Jacksonville and will be here until Saturday - then on to GA for 2 weeks
