Our family-owned lakehouse is on the Camden side of the lake. We enjoy taking our grandchildren to the park store for ice cream. We used to sail there for ice cream when we still owned our sailboat. Click image for larger version

Look me up if we cross paths. I've got >16K finds and over 50% of my finds are over 200 miles from home! I can't believe how many interesting places caching has taken me to.

To keep from causing confusion. When you ask someone a question or reply to a specific post, I think it is good form to quote the post you are replying to. Easy to do, just click the quote button.

It is a nice, small campground.

No activities but the small town charm and the nice folks that run it, make up for anything lost to those needing something to occupy their time 24/7. They do have a rec-room, small store, bath house and laundry.

The folks that now own it, have only been here 3 years and they are really doing a lot of improvements to the campground.

If you are into mega-resorts and hundreds of campers, this isn't for you.
If you like laid-back and easy going, check them out.

We moved today from Edisto, SC to George L. Smith State Park, GA. Here's Site #20.

And a view from our campsite to the lake.

A view of the campsite.
