It's 2023 Let's See Your Campsites!
This thread was started by DreiHunde back in 2015. They have not posted since 11-08-2020. Cath and I have participated in this thread since 2019 and have enjoyed it.
Here's our current campsite at George L. Smith State Park, GA. We are hosts here until 1 Apr 23. Hope to see you at the park.
Happy New Year to All!
Mods...can we "sticky" it again?

Another example of when someone tells you they’re working hard, but in fact, they’re hardly working. Hey……I could do that…..if the motorhome wasn’t packed away for winter. Envious in Ontario too.

Thanks for keeping this themed thread alive Craig. Looks like you have a great spot there.
We are at Ocala North R/V Resort until end of March when we'll work our way back to PA.
Oh... BTW... Nice truck!

In Southeastern Virginia
Here's the 2008 Cherokee 38P, where it is permanently sited at a campground in southeastern Virginia at White Tail Resort. We are camping there this weekend because they always have a great New Year's Eve party. Also enjoying the hot tub and heated indoor pool. About half the trailer is hidden by the cabin.

Jonathan Dickinson, Jupiter FL
Rang in the New Year in Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Jupiter FL .... this past year has been lite on the camping trips due to the joy of getting old & stupid surgeries but YAY .... vacation time is back & we are ready to go!
Great place to camp - we were riverside that is not full hook up but is more scenic (IMHO). Enjoyed the state park first day hike & later in the week the scrub jay hike (we were successful seeing this endangered bird). Took the boat ride up to Trapper Nelson's home - pretty interesting character of his time with great history. Great bike riding / hiking park. Did not fish or kayak on this trip. Biggest endorsement - we would definitely go back :-)

Panther Creek State Park
Panther Creek State Park near Morristown TN.
This is a really nice State Park.
I was surprised at how many people are here, since it’s cold. Going to be 26 tonight.
This is just an overnight stop on our way South, heading out West.

AMS this weekend
First trip of the year. Dropped the camper off at Atlanta Motor Speedway today. Will return on Friday for the weekend races. It was good to see RJ (aceinspp) there today. He's been my camping neighbor at the track for the past 4 or 5 years.

Ft. Myers Beach, Florida
Our camp site in Fort Myers Beach. Had a nice stay weather was great. Still a lot of destruction from hurricane Ian.
There are a lot of restaurants and businesses open. But there was a lot of closed businesses too. There was 2 big boats behind us slated for demolition, plus hundreds more staged.
The park we stayed at had just reopened January 1st .

Reminds me of cleaning up Homestead AFB and handing it over to the guard 2 years after hurricane Andrews. Lots of lives changed forever

I don’t really know about the summer. We’ve only been here in March as our first trip after de-winterizing the last 3 years. I made this reservation Dec. 17, ‘22.

We are not yet to our destination which is Heber, AZ. We arrive there this afternoon. We hope to see lots of wildflowers.
From NC the first night was in Crossville, TN at the KOA, which was nice. Weather was clear but cold.

Then on to Hazen, AR in what was almost a farmer’s field. But it was a nice, level pull through with full hookups, and $35.00 for the night. It rained all night.

Next night was in Weatherford, OK. We stayed at Wanderlust RV Park which was very nice. Clear and cold at night.

Now we are in Edgewood, NM just east of Albuquerque. We are in a little RV Park that is full of permanent sites and is a little trashy. Our site is a long, level, pull through. It is all gravel here. The KOA in Albuquerque wanted $110.00 for one night!!! We paid $62.00 here. Weather is clear but very cold. It was 16 when we got up, and there is some snow on the ground.
We saw this beauty in Amarillo.

Burchfield Branch, AL
Thursday, Burchfield Branch COE campground on the Warrior River, near Adger, AL.
Beautiful spot right on the river bank, with a deck overlooking the river, and steps down to the water. Turtles lined up sunning on the logs, and herons fishing in the river.
We were right downstream from a dam and lock for the boat traffic. During the night, a huge tug went by in the dark. We could only hear the engine and see all the lights.
My wife really loved this spot.
