KyDan's 2010 slide show

You may think watching someone else' s vacation slide show
is about as much fun as watching paint dry or being stuck in
an elevator with an insurance salesman but.....

Just in case you are interested- in 2010 we
Cruised to the Caribbean, spent spring break week at
Land Between the Lakes National Recreation area in
western KY,
We spent a full month touring the south west with our
travel trailer and motorcycle,
we had a couple smaller weekend trips and wound
up the year at
Cumberland Gap National Historic park.

So if you are sitting there with winter on your mind
you can view the video and see some warm places!

It is us on vacation but if you can look past our faces
(and we aren't in every photo) you will see some pretty
spectacular scenery.
I told my wife we were going to visit every park with
canyon in the name and we darned near did.

60 MEG and about 20 minutes run time.

Here's the link--
http://tinyurl.com/4fczhh5

Simply choose "save file" and save it to your desktop.
Turn on your speakers and run the file.
Delete when done watching.
Hit ESC at any time to stop the show.

Comments welcome.

Nicely put together and edited. I enjoyed watching your paint dry!

Did you get you software on-line or buy the cd? Is it easy to use?

Life is great ! Enjoy! God IS good!

I got it from wnsoft.com

I can't say it is "easy". I've been piddling with it for a
few years but I don't do it regularly. Typically I build
one slide show per year or less so I tend to forget a lot
of what I learned last time!

The good thing about the program is that it has a user
support group much like the FRF forums here.
At their support forum you can see other peoples video
and ask questions. There are some great down-loadable
"how to" videos there that show how to do some of
the fancy stuff like pan and zoom. These can make a
still photo look almost animated. They are coming out
with a new version soon that will allow you to incorporate
still shots with video since so many cameras are video
capable now days.

The program makes Exe files like you just watched of
our 2010 vacations.

It also can make HD MP4 files and burn DVDs to show
your vacation on any DVD player. If you have a play station,
they have a USB port and with a thumb drive
you can play a MP4 file and have true HD video on TV
of your vacation or wedding or what ever.

DVDs are going away eventually and this program is
staying current. It also allows you to upload to
U-tube and Facebook if you're so inclined.

No I don't work for them. I won't say it's "easy" to use
but any powerful software usually has a bit of a learning
curve. As I said the user support forum makes all
the difference.

Not only an outstanding presentation, but what a great year it must have been! Excellent job matching the music to the locations.

I recognized a number of places we've been, and others that are high on the list. I even recognized Lazy Day RV Park in Danville, MO. The St. Louis chapter of the Coachmen Owners Association (Archway Coachmen) goes there each year to kick off the camping season. Kim runs a really nice park.
