I more like the idea of retiring at ALL of these places.

East Coast sunset
Taken just minutes ago overlooking the wharf at Whale Cove Nova Scotia, just down the road from Whale Cove Campground.
Rustic and peaceful all the time.

I'm from about 50 miles south of Erie and camped at Lampe and Presque Isle Passages campgrounds in Erie. Lampe is close to the city launch ramps and docks. Where will you be camping? Or near Warren? You'll be close to Kinzua Dam Lake. Big long freshwater man made lake.

In my backyard and never been there. I do read many positive comments about it.

Breezy Hill RV "Resort" in Pompano Beach, FL. This is site #566.
Even with an empty park, this is still one of the more difficult parking jobs that I have had. The raised pads and narrow slot behind it makes it a challenge. It took 3 to 4 tries backing up and major pull forwards.
The crazy part is, it's a 500 site campground and they have 7-8 rigs clumped together in one area.

Slight Slope They Said
Sleeper State Park in Caseville, MI. Liked the park; however, the description for our site stated a "slight slope". Man I'd hate to see anything more than slight....

Pretty common for maintenance reasons.
Clumping everyone together allows mowing/trimming/maintenance work on other areas of the campground without having to worry about a R/V being in the way.
Say they wanted to do some upgrading to the water lines or cable... they are able to turn off those sections and do work without affecting the area where you are parked.

I was born and raised in Warren and will be staying at my brother's place while we're there, and at my cousin's place when we're in Erie. He does a lot of fishing on Lake Erie. You mentioned Kinzua Dam; I remember watching them build that back in the 60s before I went in the US Army.

Hey 5er.
We're at site C026 and all the sites at Poplar Point Loop C have water and new electrical with 20/30/50A service. Unfortunately no sewer hookup. There are a number of sites right near the water.
My brother lives in Fuquay-Varina and my sister lives in Sanford. So this puts us right smack between them.

Trip to DeGray Lake State Park in Arkansas, really nice place and we were lucky enough to get a newly remodeled site.
