Up high and wild in Alaska on the Denali Highway. Don't take this road if you are skeered.

Grandson has a 10:00 flight home is the main reason we are in this Arizona furnace. Leaving early in the morning heading north to cooler weather. Attachment 114152

KOA Travelers Rest, SC for the weekend. It's only about 30 minutes from our home, but it's great for a short weekend when we don't have plans.
The owners bought this place about 2 years ago and have REALLY improved it since then.

We have escaped the Phoenix Furnace!! Now in Kanab, UT. Only 93 here😃 but mid 50's tonight. Much better.
I showered in the RV this morning in Phoenix and did not need hot water. The "cold" water out of the faucet was almost too hot!!!
And people live there on purpose!

Did that road once in a rented jeep that the company was paying for. Two flats on that gravel road and thank goodness for the lodges along the way. They all seem to have a shack to work on tires.
That trip is burned into the good side of my mind.
Keep enjoying your trip and keep posting those photos....

Three campsites on the way to Texas from Ohio for us. Buckeye lake koa, Tulsa Rv Ranch, Beggs OK, and finally Silver wind rv park , Silverton, TX. Double rainbows in OK and TX. Maybe luck follows?

Juniper Point COE park on Lake Texoma on the Texas side. Sites are rough gravel an no where close to level. Bring LOTS of leveling blocks.

Gamble Rogers Memorial State Park, Flagler Beach FL
Spent the weekend in Gamble Rogers Memorial State Park site 26 in Flagler Beach, FL. Was on the Atlantic Ocean side of the campground (short walk over the dune to the water) but sites at our end were not very accommodating to long TV parking TT (luckily neighbors all were wonderful & were willing to move around for us to get in & out).
No-see-ums were rough on the beach itself when breeze was low at sunrise but still caught a bunch of beautiful pictures. Turtles were laying eggs & hatching every morning, public dog beach is right next to the state CG (no dogs on the beach) and nice bike paths in to town. Bad fishing on intercoastal and ocean sides ....
Will go back

Second pic is at Custer Mountain Cabins and Campground In Custer SD. Nice quiet, clean and close to all the sites. Also very reasonable rates.
