Anybody using the Anderson levelers on their Micro or Mini? If so, how much did you have to cut off to fit between the tires.

Thermostat

I would like to replace the present thermostat in my 2013 21fbrs. I have not been able to find any. Is there someone that has done this?

If you type in "replace thermostat" in the "search" box near the top of the page you will find other discussions on this topic. Look around and see if any work for you. If you do replace your thermostat let us know what you replaced it with and how easy was it to wire. Pictures help greatly. Inquiring minds always want to know. I'm fairly handy with electrical wiring but I haven't tried this yet.

Although a former 2306 Mini owner, I'll chime in. We traveled with 2 bikes inside the camper and 1 in the back of the truck.

Loved the versatility of the Mini. Never had to worry about length. Our favorite two campgrounds are Clear Creek State Park (PA) and Hershey (Hershey Park Campground and Jonestown KOA are recommended)... (Hershey KOA not recommended).

We had a 3" standard queen memory foam on top of our mattress. Made the bed a little longer and standard queen sheets fit well.

As far as a towel rack, we put an over-the-door coat rack onto the bathroom door and used it as a towel rack.

We are trying to learn all we can about the minis and micros before we get one - which we can't until the end of this camping season. We've already learned a ~lot~ here. We haven't seen anybody talking about raising their TT to go over rough/rocky roads, though. Has anyone in this group done such a thing? (We did on our PUP, and it helped.)

I replaced my analog unit with a digital one on my former TT, a 2306. It was a Coleman Mach. I found it on Amazon. Took about 5-minutes to change it out. Just make sure you match up the mfg and the functions properly (FAN: on/off/auto, COOL: on/off, HEAT: on/off).

Any interesting uses for the Murphy Bed shelve? It looks like a neat space.

SkipBest : Count us in the group (Lite Fans). We are new to FRF and camping. We've only camped two times before the weather set in here. 1). Driveway camping, and a long weekend @ Stone Mountain Ga. The first camping trip was a very large learning curve, but we made it. The second one was much better but still have a lot to learn !!!
With the downtime of not camping I added a few things to the camper. First thing I added was a power tongue jack (to old I guess) should make things a lot easier now.😃 . Also added two Max-Air vent covers. A Lend-a-Hand rv hand rail (that old thing again).
The DW and I like to BBQ/ slow cook with a smoker. So I built a mini smoker,a set of Red Neck wheel clocks.Click image for larger version

We bought a new 2015 Microlite 21 DS Sapphire this Summer. We made 3 2-night campouts during the season;Tahoe KOA with hookups and the 2 Pinecrest,CA campgrounds, dry. We just spent 5 nights Christmas week at Seacliff State Beach, again with hookups. We stayed dry and cozy in the torrential rain. We opted for the Murphy bed. We topped it with a standard queen memory foam topper and use standard sheets. The mattress heater worked very well with the foam topper. Our mods so far have been the Oxygenics shower head, a second towel bar in the bathroom, a blue LED courtesy light just inside the door and 2 stick on LED reading lights at the head of the bed. I added stick on key hooks all over for keys, dog leashes etc. The cabinet over the dinette had 3 doors and 2 blank panels which made it hard to see what was back there. I knocked out the blank panels and got 2 9" mirrors at Dollar Tree. I epoxied tiny brass hinges and magnetic catches and made pull tabs from fancy ribbon. The dealer added a 2nd battery for free. That helps extend the time between charging. Only failure so far is the USB charging port. I got a new one for $5 and free shipping from an Amazon dealer in China.

DM: I sure do like the idea of mirrors in the cabinet over the kitchen. We own a 2012 DS 25 Micro light. We have two
fixed, three doors with Hinges over the the bed.The mirror's that you used glass or plastic?
I've added two110 receptacles that have two USB ports in each one on both sides of the bed. This makes it very convenient to charge them and use after a long day.
We've also added the foam topper, what a great addition!!! The shower head and towel rack is the next.

We got our Mini Lite in August, first time TT owners. We did an overnight shakedown trip in Aug and a long weekend trip to N Llano River SP in November. The heat set off the smoke alarm and scared the bejeezus out of us, but kind souls elsewhere on this forum explained to us why and talked us off the ledge. We already have plans to go to Canyon of the Eagles and Lake Travis in Mar, back to Travis in July, and Jamaica Beach on Galveston Island in Sep. We'll get down to Guadalupe River SP sometime in the late spring too. We are stoked to start hitting the road.
