level your camper right to left using boards or the Adult version of legos that is sold for that purpose. Then using your tongue jack, level the camper rear to front. The jacks are used then to Stabilize your trailer at this point

Thanks to both of you! That's what I thought & how we're doing it. But after reading some of the reviews on Amazon, I wondered if maybe we were missing an easy step in making the camper even more level. And, since it was on the Internet, it HAD to be true! Plus, Amazon actually refers to them as leveling jacks. I trust you guys so we'll keep with our current process of using boards until we invest in the Legos, and continue to use the jacks only to stabilize. But, I think I'll add the x-chocks to the order for the replacement stabilizer jacks! Thanks!

My question is a REAL basic one...
I am having an issue with draining the fresh water tank. I open the low point drain line however I need to run the water pump to get the water out of the tank. I have opened the faucets in the kitchen and the bathroom but without running the pump the tank doesn't empty. What am I missing?

The low point drains drain the hot and cold lines. You need to find the actual fresh water tank drain. It should be right on the bottom (maybe the side) of your fresh water tank. Sometimes it's just a plug. If so, you can add a valve.

Is there a threaded plug on the tank? I have seen this valve online and at Camping World. Will it thread right into the tank? That is what I would think but RVs always seem to surprise me.

What is the value of the "low point" cap if it doesn't drain the tank?

If you have the plug, yes - it will be threaded right in. Remove it and thread in the valve. The valve can fit either a 3/8" plug hole or a 1/2" plug hole. Most are 1/2" I think.

The low point drains allow you to drain the water lines prior to winterizing. If you blow your lines out to winterize, it's that much less water to blow out. If you pump anti-freeze into your lines, it's that much less water to dilute the antifreeze.

If you don't know how to winterize, go up to the top of this page and click on "Library," then click on "Plumbing, Propane and Water Systems." The first thread download file you'll see is about winterizing.

two separate things. Low point drains get rid of water in the system. the fresh water tank drain only drains water in your fresh water tank.

I have a 2306 and the bottom of my tank has a drain plug to empty the fresh water.

Skip: Just realized you have the same camper as I do. I didn't want to crawl under the camper everytime I wanted to drain the FW tank. The drain is under the camper directly between the two axles. So I removed the plug, installed an elbow and some pex, and a 1/2" fitting and a drain valve out where I can get to it. Shot some black paint on it and it "disappears."

We received a slide lock with our 2016 2504S. We asked about it during the PDI and were told "some use it, some don't". Not really a good answer. It seems that if we got one & there is a sticker on the wall showing where it should be put, it's something we should use. But we've had a hard time getting it snug enough to stay in place during travel. When we get to our destination, it's almost always come undone. There must be a trick to it we aren't aware of. So - do you use a slide lock? If so, do you have any suggestions to how to get it more securely held into place?

I have a question about the tv antenna on our 2504s. As we rarely use the tv, I'm not sure where to start. All of a sudden there is no reception on the antenna when there was one earlier today. According to the manual there is a power supply which I can't find, nor can i find a fuse. Resorted to testing the cable hookup to the campground- all good. DVD player works as well. So it's not the tv. Just lost the antenna. Any 2504s owners ever troubleshoot this in the past?

Sorry if I didn't answer this before...the mirrors are glass in plastic frames. I have adjustable stretcher bars in the openings to keep stuff from popping the mirrors open.

There should be an on/off switch and LED where your cable hooks up to the wall. Should be on for antenna. Maybe it got turned off somehow.

Well, yes there is a tiny little black bump on a black faceplate that I must have hit with my finger. Just pushed it in about 1/16" and saw the little green indicator light come on. All good thanks!

It's so difficult to see... Not only does it blend in with its surroundings, it's really dark behind the TV.

Hello I just purchased a micro21fbs and after one good rain there was water in the front on the one nightstand. Anyone have this problem? The window doesn't open up front so I wasn't sure what it may be. Another question, when u hook up cable at a site what setting does tv need to be on, mine kept searching trying to find channels and nothing so I wasn't sure if I did something wrong.
