Our home this weekend.

We spent Thursday through Sunday camped at Gulpha Gorge Campground in Hot Springs National Park. Met some great people and survived the heat while adding 3 more nights camped on our new travel trailer.

Nice. Love that place. IIRC that campground is dry camping, right? We were north of y'all at Bull Shoals. It was definitely hot this weekend!

We were there in May and dearly loved it. Not dry camping. We had a site toward the end close to the amphitheater. The walking/hiking trail over to Hot Springs was just fine for two old folks and a dog. Loved wading in the creek. All the people we met there were so nice.

What is dry camping? No hook ups? I'm pretty sure it used to be primitive sites several years ago. This one has full hook ups. 50A, water and sewer at all camper sites. Tent sites have nothing, but tenters can use the camper spots if they are open and they want hookups.

We didn't hike the trail. Temps were flirting with 100 most of the weekend so we stayed close to our A/C.

Neat. I had that exact camper in Lake Ouachita State Park last summer....... in fact, we had those identical zero gravity chairs........and I'm not sure, but that mat looks familiar too.

Don't know about the purple and yeller thingamajig up front though. I'd never own anything purple and yellow. LOL

A coworker of my wife makes door hanger signs out of 1/4" plywood. I don't know if the colors were chosen for this reason, but my wife graduated from OBU and I am an OBU drop out from years ago. I just asked her to make a sign that screamed Deb. When she showed it to me she said it turned out a little wilder than she expected. LOL. They most certainly aren't for LSU. We be's Razorback fans. Got the tire cover on the back to prove it!

We love our zero gravity chairs. They stay on our back deck until we get ready to camp. The mat came from ebay, my wife has been embracing her Cajun roots pretty heavily for the last few years. Thus the Fleur de Lis.

Yes, no hookups. I think the last time I was there, there were no hookups. But that was before I had an RV. Maybe use just didn't know about/pay attention to the rv amenities. Sounds like it's time for me to revisit the spot
