We drove south today on I 75 out of Michigan into Ohio. Michigan roads are still really bad. Glad to be in Ohio. First stop at rest area south of Toledo.

Had a 20-30 mph crosswind all day with 40+ gusts and 92 degrees. Glad the air in the truck works real good. Had the cruise set on 65. It was a 2 handed drive with no relaxing. If I was retired no way I would of drove in this wind. The TT pulled good in fact I was surprised how well it did. I did have to crank down the sway control but I never got blown out of my lane. We are staying in Lebanon OH. tonight at Cedarbrook Campground. Nice place very clean. Will be headed to Gatlinburg TN. tomorrow

We made it down to Gatlinburg last night. Long drive yesterday. Got caught in construction north of Knoxville for 1 1/2 hours. Arrived at the campground at 8:30. Easy drive a lot less wind and not much traffic. TT is towing great through the mountains. Jellico pass was 65 mph a/c and cruise on and rpm's at 3500. Not to bad. Love passing all the semi's going uphill. We are staying at Twin Creek RV Resort for the week. Very nice place. Campsite right on a creek.

Going up is the easy part. Go down the mountains, keep your speeds slow and don't burn up your trailer brakes.

Actually with this truck having the hill decent option it just automatically down shifts to keep your set speed. Last night coming in on the 2 lanes it did downshift one to many times and rpm's jumped up to redline. Just hit the gas pedal and it turns off though. The real fun option is the hill accent. I am sure a few people have freaked out behind me when I let off the brake stopped on a hill.

Have fun. Make sure to take a swing thru Cades Cove. Stop at the Cable Mill for a real neat look into the way people used to live.

Nice, did that trip two years ago from Windsor, Ontario. Michigan roads sucked then guess they still do!!! We stayed at adventure bound little further out of Gatlingburg then twin creek. How do you like that campground it sure looked nice from the road? We are thinking of going back, while adventure bound was nice we always like to try different parks. Lots to do in Gatlinburg Enjoy

We stayed there last year. It was very nice and quiet. We had a spot in the shade next to the creek.

We are heading out to Pigeon Forge on Thursday for Santa Bob's birthday and Father's Day. Staying at Up The Creek. Plan on going owner the mountain from Cherokee. We love the Smokey Mountains. Will probably do a picknic up in the Mountains on Sunday.
