Phone help

I am looking for advice on the best way to have a phone while travelling long term as our own Bell plan is getting too expensive. They have stopped thier travel packages and is charging 16.00 per day for Data, Voice, Text.
Any helpful suggestions welcome, and thank you in advance.

This is a little dated (last June), but might help: https://www.whistleout.ca/CellPhones...-Roaming-Guide
Most of our Canadian friends who winter in AZ use US carriers while they are here. Don't know all the details but know some forward their Canadian number to the US number and others turn off one service while using the other.

Get a US carrier while here as NMWC said. I pay 90 dollars per month for 2 free phones (T-Mobile)for unlimited everything, free usage in CA and MX, 5G Streaming quality reception with no buffering, and no limits.

A little clarification, please.

Are you traveling long term in Canada or the United States or both?
