So if you are not going to drink from the sink in the trailer do you still need the white hose?

Yes - the water from the faucets and shower will smell funky !!! We do not drink ours and bring water from home for coffee and the dog but still use the white hose with an inline filter as well.

I agree with previous response. Regular garden hoses can make the water smell funny. Do you use the tap water for washing your teeth?

I have had zero luck with those crazy hoses. Went through 6 of them. Exchanged over and over. Was heavy duty also. Never abused either. Big wast imo
