Pouring a pad
This new addition to the driveway and side yard lets us drive in forward, unhitch and drive in a circle back to the garage. When leaving, we can hitch and then drive on out without backing up. Backing up is hard to do when your driveway is flanked by drainage ditches.
Anything to make life easier for a couple of old broads.

I have a 30 amp circuit installed already just inside the garage about 20 feet from where the RV will sit. And a long enough cord. You can see just the tiniest tip of the garage roof near the top left of the photo.

Wi fi if you like. Satellite TV, not cable.
We will leave the light on for you.

You're gonna have to back that thing up sometime. Might as well start now.

How about the bathroom, do we come inside of the house or do you have a fire hydrant near by?

Let me rephrase that then, you are gonna have to back up near obstacles soooner than later. Might as well start now.

MB, I think backing up into a 10' wide driveway flanked by 5' deep drainage ditches is obstacle enough.

You know from the looks of your yard you could put a few pads in and charge a small over night camping rate, I say small because of the out house. This idea could help pay for the pad and maybe plan for a larger out house with more moons.

It's an acre, but the front yard is a garden and the other side of the house is a veggie garden. But I like your idea. To charge more, I could install a dump station near the waste treatment plant. (That's a post Katrina word for septic tank.)

So you are gonna pull straight into the new pad or back in?
If you pull straight in, are you gonna drive the camper out over the grass to get back out?

I can pull in and out without any problem. On the way out, I will drive over the grass.

Nice looking set-up. Will we have a clear view of the southern sky for DirecTV??? Do you accept Good Sam or maybe Good Jan??? Love the humor or everyone. Hope we all get along once we get to your place.
