There's a man who either has been or will be married a very long time.

After setting up, I have an adult beverage (usually with Bourbon in it). Walk around the campground looking at other RVs, if it is not too hot If it is I enjoy will beverage inside enjoying the A/C.

We're much like others and glamp with friends, sometimes 6 to 8 rigs. First nights (and most meals) are pre planned by the DW's in advance...so it's simply deciding which buddy sites, if we have them, the gang will congregate at. Then it's either a "barley pop" on some very smooth "French toast" 'shine while dinner is set up..followed by cleanup, fire built if not used for cookin dinner, big circle of chairs, war stories & more beverages, a walk around the CG to drool over others rigs..more beverages...repeat tomorrow....

Wife suggested it was a little early when I cracked open a beer in my pj's. I told her, "You can't drink all day unless you start before breakfast!"

After the rig is set up we socialize with other dogs/owners while I walk Merlin. Wife can't take the heat and I can't stand bugs so we'll be inside with the a/c running if conditions warrant...however we spend very little time in campgrounds.

Merlin waiting in the Wolf Pup, to go out and socialize with other campers.

My joy is being on the road at 55 mph, then we spend most nights Wallydocking. Wallydocking is a holdover from when we tow the houseboat and 'tie up' in Walmart parking lots.

Here's Big Duck Wallydocking on the way to Lake Powell from SC.

And here's the Wolf Pup, 'Wallydocking' on the way to Oregon from SC.

We usually get to a campground later than most folks. First thing I do after parking and leveling, is grab a beer and chill out for a few moments.

We've a routine....

DW does the inside stuff and I do the outside setup. Same on breakdown. Once I'm satisfied with setup, its a cold beer in the chair. If I'm not sure of the quality of the beer, I'll have another to make sure. Dinnertime comes around and like home, I do most of the cooking. So, will have a moderate sized adult beverage while cooking. Clean up, maybe a fire, followed by a shower.

The next days involve quality control testing of various beverages.

Seems to be a very common theme here that is rather "fluid".

We usually roll in mid afternoon. While I set up, DW takes the dog for an exploration walk. I finish setting up, Dw feeds the dog, them we go into town to our fav. diner.

That is us. Usually coming from work, so eat and vegitate. Listen to the news or music on the radio while puttering in the travel trailer.

Esrly in the season we have a campfire, but by the end of the year that is too much work the first night.

We get out the motorcycles and bicycles and decide which one to ride. If the weather does not allow riding we may just take a stroll around the campground. If we are going to stay a few days we will break out the carpets, tables, gas grill, and set up the rear patio. The wife loves quilting so I set up the garage for her to do her sewing. Since we are retired we really don't have a schedule to adhere to.

Camped for a month and never saw the guy 6 spots down from us, until I had sewer problems. He came up, with tools, and his, son-in-law, and got down and dirty until it was fixed. He hasn't been back since, but, I walk down and say hi. Some people are just shy, I guess.
