28 Gallon Portable Waste tank for $140 CDN

I just bought a pop up camper and I'm buying some accessories, is this a good price?

The guy is asking 140 Canadian dollars for it:

According to Amazon it's a good price, I guess it depends on the condition.

Yeah, it shows $240.59 CDN for me. Guess it's because I'm in the states?

I’m getting $240.59 as well, and I’m in Canada [emoji1063]

I'm losing faith in Amazon. Found a small Kabota tractor about 2 months ago at a STEAL of a price. Turned out it was actually 3 times the amount that was posted.

The price in the US for that on Amazon is 182 USD, or 242 Canadian dollars. Didn't realize there was a 1/3 difference in exchange rate, so if you can get it for 140 Canadian, I would jump at it. That's for the 28g size.

The only thing I noticed is that it doesn't have a front wheel, so you wouldn't be able to move it without a vehicle. Even moving it from your trailer's outlet to the truck could be a chore. 28 gallons is heavy, and without a front wheel you're going to have to lift the front off the ground to move it.

No kidding! When full that thing will weigh over 200 lbs. Moving that rig around is not my idea of fun.

^^^Yes.

We have a two-wheeled 25-gallon unit which I have to pull about 25 feet to reach the golf cart. I'm lifting close to 100 lbs. and walking backward.

Also, if it only has a top drain, you have to lift it off the ground and turn it upside down at the end of draining it, to completely empty it.

See my post here for other decision criteria.

He never said that was the Amazon price, he was just comparing what 'the guy' was selling it for to the Amazon price.

I think the OP was getting a used one for $140 and was wondering about it. It's true that the Canadian Prices tend to be 30% more due the exchange, and some products are quite a bit more, because they've been shipped from the USA to Canada.

I always thought CDN water was lighter than other water Due to air pressure at higher elevations. That's why it doesn't need a front wheel.
Just sayin
