281qbxl, what I haggled it for.
I just wanted to put this out there since I couldn't find any info on a 281qbxl and what people are paying for it in the end. The travel trailers MSRP is just insane so when they say it's $24k an they are giving you the trailer for $19k (before taxes and fees) and it's an amazing deal there is still a TON of room there to get them down further and throw in extras.
It took a lot of work and trying to get the best deal from 10 different dealers in 3-4 different states but I finally got them at $17,500 out the door with a weight distribution with sway, electric brakes hookup/device and taxes, fees, etc... I did haggle 2 other dealers to that price that wanted me to put a deposit on the trailer and when I went in they would request that price from the "boss" and see if it was ok, I didn't fall for that one so be careful. Dealing with these dealers was probably the worst experience I've had purchasing a large item, even compared to buying a used vehicle. The only dealer that was the most honest was the one we purchased it from, and who knows if they are really being that honest but no one else in our area would touch that trailer with those extras at the price and I didn't have to drive 6-8 hours to pick it up.
Overall I'm looking forward to this summer and getting out in it a lot, first trip will be next week when the kids are off for spring break!
Edit: The trailer we got has all the extras, outside kitchen, sun roof above shower, etc...
