Any experience or suggestions on Arbitrating after a new Trailer purchase?

Arbitration is just as expensive as hiring an attorney and going to court. IMO

You loose.

Best to work things out yourself.

Yikes, you signed an arbitration clause with a dealership you claim is dishonest? I assume they originated the clause and it stipulates who the arbitrator is? How honest is the arbitrator?

Take part of Croakers advice and at least talk to a good attorney who has dealt with such cases.

Thanks ls for the feedback. The signing of the clause was at the time of purchase;of course I
would not have even made the purchase much less have agreed to an Arbitration had I any idea that dishonesty was involved. Ive seen these clauses before in other dealings and found reason only once to even need legal backup. That one I took to Federal Authorities.

Im considering taking this one to the state authorities. Am doing the research gathering information.

You are correct in that they likely would choose the Arbitraitor who would likely of corse be on their side of corsr is why I sought the input of anyone who may have experienceded such an issue in connection with purchase of an RV.

Youroo is most likely referring to this, and the reasons why the site team HAS to close threads down once they start talking about attorneys, lawsuits, etc.

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...tml#post665355

And as per our site guidelines:

Dealer/Vendor and Customer Disputes: This forum is not intended to be a mechanism for people to vent frustrations about vendors or sales from private parties. Please settle your differences with sellers, manufacturers and dealers through the long-established legal or arbitration systems or the Better Business Bureau but not through our community.

We can only allow this one as long as it stays to the generality of the arbitration process in purchasing a RV, and is not specific to a dealer or attorneys/lawsuits.

It's also being moved out of the welcome mat subforum.

What is the problem and are you looking for specific advice to a problem you are having? What are the details you are trying to work out? Was this a problem specific to the dealer or are you having an issue with a unit you purchased. If you post up some details you will have a better chance of getting help.
