Argh! It's That Time of Year

I drove into town yesterday and saw this roadside reminder that it's TAX SEASON. Don't forget, most RV's qualify to have interest payments on their loans claimed as a deduction as interest on a second home mortgage.

Our salesman mentioned that when we were signing our papers. Although I believe that's only if you itemize your deductions. If you take the standard deduction (like me) then that doesn't help.

Anyway, mine are already filed and I think the refund is already in our account.

It doesn't help me as I don't itemize, house is paid for, truck got it at zero percent interest. Tax refund goes in DW IRA account.

Yep.... Itemize and took the deduction. DW already has the refund spent! 😉

Itemizing deductions only work if you have enough to go over the standard deduction. I had been doing it for several years until the last increase of the standard deduction.
