My local battery dealer will sell me SCS225 Trojans for $142.50 with exchange. That seems like a good deal to me. Of course, I have to go pick them up - shipping must be astronomical for these things.
Got my batteries. It was a tight fit - had to get slightly bigger battery boxes - these fit in a group 27 box FWIW.
They needed to be topped off - the shop told me that these we a few days off from their charging cycle. They didn't appear all that down, at least from the crappy gauge I have. Overnite on the built in charger, they appear full.
