Diesel at Costco! ??

Hi all,

I am currently on vacation in Arizona (without my truck and trailer) and we pulled in to the Costco gas station in Prescott. To my surprise they sell diesel from the pumps on the far right hand side of the forecourt. I don't know if this is something new and something Costco will be expanding to all of their gas station but I thought it might be useful to pass this along to the RVers who will venture down to this part of the continent for the winter.

If other forum users are aware of other Costco locations where diesel can be purchased I'd be interested to hear, especially in Montana, Washington, Idaho, Oregon and western Canada.

Btw, this Costco was selling diesel at $3.53 a gallon while locally it was going for $3.89

My Costco in Illinois does not sell diesel. I have never seen one that did. That would be great if all did

I have been to the two local Costco stores, nether sells diesel.

I will guess you are in a winter hot spot and they sell diesel there because of that.

I'm in Michigan and have never seen one with it. I've checked many locations with no luck. We just joined Sam's Club and I asked about diesel and was told very few locations carry it. I sure wish they all had it.

Interesting on the Sam's Club. I wonder how many Murphy's (WalMart) carry diesel?

My local WM does have one diesel pump.

The two Sams Club closest to me that carry fuel both sell diesel. It is typically less than anywhere except if I have a ton of Kroger fuel points. I try to save enough up to get a dollar off per gallon and usually run the tank so that I can get 35 gallons in and make it worth my while.

The Murphy's near us in NC sells diesel but is certainly not big rig friendly, it's barely truck friendly. Same thing with the sheetz near us. Read that to say exit 154 off 40 in Mebane NC is not very rv friendly other than the Wal-Mart parking lot and the new campground put in there this year. There are multiple truck stops near here to hit instead. I get sheetz discounts and pilot discounts that I use instead. Haven't seen a Costco or Sam's near here with diesel.
