Fair price?

Advice on a fair offer for s 2006 Forest River Georgetown SE 350DS with bunks. 38,000 miles, all in good working order.

Asking $38,000.

My insurance guy told me itís value according to them is $30,000.

Iím excited about becoming a Class A motor home owner, but i want to make sure i donít over pay.

If your insurance guy says it's worth $30,000 and you buy it at $38,000, you're going to take and $8,000 loss if that rig gets totaled.

I looked on and these are the results for a 2006 Georgetown. There's only one that I'm certain is your proposed rig and they are all at dealers which means a higher price than from an individual

$25k would be a fair price. It's 16 yrs old. an u would surely get screwed by ins if something happen to it. google that rig for sale and see prices others are asking.
