Insurance for medium duty haulers

I have been thinking of trading up from my F250 4x4 to an F450 or F550. However, my insurance company, who I have used for over 30 years, does not write policies for trucks larger than 350, 3500 size.

Who has reasonable and reliable insurance for larger trucks such as an F550?

Thanks ahead. I'm sure this has been addressed many times.

I used Miller Insurance Agency when we went fulltime. They're very knowledgeable about the RV market and can likely help you with your MDT policy.

I have a international 4700.. I have insurance with allied, which is nationwide. They gave the best price but will only insure the truck if the camper is also insured on the same policy. Otherwise State Farm will cover just the truck. Forget about all the norms, like geico, progressive, etc. And you have to get a good agent for state farm to get coverage. As they actually have some leg work to do. Check out rvnetwork. They have a decent MDT/HDT section....by the way, I absolutely love my natti. Just keep in mind these trucks are not nessasarily powerhouses, but are made for long time use. The dt466e for example comes in various hp rating with highest being 230. But is rated for 500k miles.
