I really hate to see anyone take off perfectly good looking new tires and have to spend money on Goodyear Marathons or Maxxis tires, but it's kinda like the old Fram Filter commercial, "Pay me now or pay me later" as the factory tires will at some time cause a lot more damage than the cost of new GY or M tires and you'll have to replace them anyway. JMHO

Just an FYI for next time, Discount Tire can usually get Maxxis in 24 hours. They actually carry some in C-Range, but not D or E range.

Thanks all for info. The new baby is Chloe, our new Maltese. She has big shoes to fill as we lost our 13 yr old baby girl Abby, in February.
Anyway, she sure made the new tire cost a little easier to swallow for my DW. :-)
