OMG I saved $5.00

So we are camping at Camp Sequoia in Adrian Mi this Memorial Day holiday. Went shopping at a local Wal-mart. Wanted to buy a table cloth for the picnic table on the campsite. Found a blue and white checkered one you know the cheep plastic fuzzy backed type for $5.00. Could not bring myself to pay that price, so we went back to camp minus the table cloth.

Next day I am cleaning out the camper, when I come across a set of sheets for the twin beds. Thinking "I don't use these anymore might as well throw them away" I came across a blue and white checkered twin fitted sheet.

Well, guess where it is now! Outside on the picnic table. Perfect fit and the elastic corners keep it on the picnic table so no need for clamps to hold it on.

So Goodwill here I come looking for more twin fitted sheets in all different colors and designs. And all I have to do is toss them in the washer to clean them. Oh and the price "free".

I have done this for my dining room table for birthdays and when the young grandchildren are here for dinner. There are some real cute ones out there. Also they serve a duo purpose....LOL

We go to the Salvation Army and buy solid oak tables, etc for the wood. Cut it down to make different things and stain it to match our camper. Much cheaper that raw lumber and a lot better quality.
