all the savings I get will be nullified with a dipped tank from the popo.. but screw them I pay enough taxes for 50 families in this state , and I never ever taken money from the state or government, (unless I consider my military time)

Around here they just swab the tailpipes.... $10k fine.
And they really like auction barns.
I get it (offroad) all the time for equipment, wont even use the same fuel cans for either off or road fuel, heard the residue will stay in a tank for many, many tanks of road fuel.
Here in OK, Road diesel is $3.59 -3.72 @ the place I always use, off road $.30 cheaper than road. E-10 gas is $3.39, 100%- 87 octane is in the $3.50 range.

Buying the off road stuff for road use gets the guberment all hot and bothered, and not in the good way. If I was doing so I certainly wouldn't tell anybody.

In most cases the only difference is the dye, the on and off road are different colors. I had several cases that revealed people using home heating oil mix or off road diesel to fuel their on road trucks and even large pleasure boats and charter boats. In New York State those laws are enforced by the office of Taxation and they were not interested in taking enforcement action in any of the cases, even when they were handed with all the proof they needed.
In some western starters I have seen up to six different types of diesel for sale at one pump in rural areas. The different blends were for on road warm weather or cold and off road with various blends. I had to get the clerk to show me which ones were right for my Silverado 2500 HD.
I would never suggest anyone circumvent the laws but I know many people who frequent stations that sell both and and I have never heard of anyone ever being checked or fined. OTR is different, I have heard of checks at weigh stations.

Just came back from FL to LA. You lose about dime per state heading west. FL ran from $3.95 to $4.10/gal for diesel. Then in AL you could find diesel for $3.85, MS around $3.75, and then LA about $3.59 to $3.69.
Now if we could get that tar sands oil off the rails and into a pipeline + regulatory relief things might get better.

Premium fuel used here because of the super charger it's required. Lots of pinging and strange engine noises if less than 91 octane. 20 mpg hwy no trailer and 10 mpg pulling the 5r

all they would get is black soot from mine, running red does not color my tail pipe. and don't see how red would make it all the way to the tail pipe unless I had a injector going south and dumping lots of excess

Well if they can get dna from saliva and now even a finger print , I have no doubt that they can tell what fuel your using from swabbing a tailpipe.
Don't mater to me, cause I ain't gotta worry about it. I just pay my taxes and move on.

We all hate the price of fuel but I'm just dropping by to ask you to
refrain from government bashing here. There are plenty of forums out there
where it's welcome or encouraged.
Here at FRF we try very hard to keep it friendly so how 'bout going back
to camping discussion?
Thanks!

Diesel at $4.00+ a gallon? I wish.... Try 1.43 per litre which is $5.60 a US gallon.
87octane is about the same here in the great white North.
We pay so much more for fuel here.... It is disgusting

In CT, gas has been going up steadily for the past 30 days to $3.90\gal for 87 Octane. $4.10 for 93, and $4.49 is the norm for diesel. Disgusting, ain't it?
