Right decision?

Hello, we are new to this forum. Recently bought a 2020 Rockwood 2891 bhs. Love the space compared to our Cougar 27.5Bhs. Upon delivery there were 3 techs trying to figure out the self level so they could explain it to me. Needless to say it wasnt working correctly and they pretty said if I had an issue with it I can bring it back. Well no sh..! I told them I didnt need to take it and they could figure out why it wasnt working. Even after multiple recalibration it wasnt right and sent me home with it anyway. Against my better judgment I took it home. And then returnd it 3 days later on Saturday. So long story short. I really hope this was an isolated issue. I'm hoping I read more positive remarks about these campers. Of the new late models how has everyone felt about their purchase? Pandoras box I know!!

I know it's disheartening to make a big purchase and then right off the bat have problems. Truth is there is just no real way to know what your experience will be. Some folks will purchase these things and never have a problem. Others are jinxed with units that spend as much or more time in for repairs in the first year than being lived in. In the future, try not to sign any final sale paperwork until your PDI is done and everything in your rig meets your satisfaction. It's amazing how fast repairs can be made when a sale is being held up. Going forward, perhaps you may want to locate a good independent repair shop that can do FR warranty work. Independents tend to do better and more efficient work than most dealers. Just be sure all warranty work is approved by your manufacturer. Most of us have at least a few bugs in the beginning with these things, but the good has by far outweighed the bad. Chin up and happy camping!
