The answer is all about people's opinions on extended warranty's -whether they be for a TT or for a household appliance. It's insurance, plain and simple and designed to make money for the seller. They are betting that not enough will go wrong during the warranty period that costs more than you gave them. They spread that risk across thousands of units and they always come out ahead. So (IMHO) the simple answer is a question - "how confident are you that the unit you are buying is well built?" For what it's worth, I never buy these warranty's. If you decide to buy it, please don't wrap it into the financing and pay interest on it!
