Selling my TT...How?
This is a follow up to my last post, but if I sell my 2020 TT on my own rather than trading it, where is the best place to post it? I know some of you have sold yours recently, so I’m just trying to figure out the best way to sell it on my own.

Since it's free, start with the classified section of this forum.

RV Trader. Not free but a lot of exposure. Do your research to determine your asking price. RV Trader is also a good place to research pricing. Use quality pictures of your TT when you do place your add. We listed on RV trader and had full price offer in two days.

I sold both my trailers on Craigslist.
But FRF Classifieds and RV Trader are good places too.

Facebook Marketplace is another option.

Plan to drop 35% off price on used 2020. That will sell it in reasonable time.

I have used a consignment lot with a lot of traffic and have sold several RVs within 3 days. A week at the most. That is the best option.
RV Trader and Craigslist work okay with good photos and descriptions. It just takes longer.
Forums want ads work well. I recently sold a canoe on a canoe website withint a week.

Our 2007 pop up was at the other end of the market, but thanks to the pandemic, CL took care of it immediately this fall. It may be a lot harder to accomplish that in January, so a consignment lot may be the best move right now- pay them to show it to buyers in this weather.

Thumbs up on facebook marketplace. Put in a good description and lots of pictures. It was a bit quiet until after the holidays, but then the inquiries went wild. We even received offers, sight unseen, from hundreds of miles away. It’s a sellers market, for sure.

Depends on the consignment lot. A friend tried one that insisted on 'cleaning up' the rig and had a high commission which would have left him with basically nothing at closing. He read the fine print which they weren't very forthcoming when trying to get a contract.
Think he ended up selling on ebay.

Agree Facebook Marketplace is a good option. Listed mine in there and went almost three weeks with minor replies. I was asking a high price since I was still happy with our camper if it didn’t sell. Ended up agreeing on a price 500 less than I paid for it 2 years ago. Shortly after had offers for full asking price which was a little higher, that I had to turn down.
