Question Solar Power Or Not

WE have a 110 Watt set-up for three year now. We also do a lot of dry camping, weeks at a time when we are at the lake. I have seen generator & battery posting and would like to just throw this out there to think about. Cost was 900.00 buck. Some may say to high for them, but think about this, 1 your batteries last longer , you don't have the draw down like do with out solar, 2 I wired my solar charger on the battery side & not the disconnect side which give me charged battery in storage. 3 generator down time, less running = less gas = less wear & tear. I think I have recovered most if not all my cost in my three year of use.
