Travel Trailer Resale Value

We are looking to sell our current camper and purchase a new one. Does anyone have any suggestions or know of a good website to help determine the trade-in value or private party value of a used camper? I've tried NADA's website but the figure including options came back so ridiculously high it doesn't even seem realistic because it was higher then we paid for the camper 3.5 years ago. Thanks.

You could try the Rvtrader website to see if you can find some that are comparable and then go from there or maybe just a generic Google search on the year and model to see what comes up. When we were looking around for our hybrid, we had to travel quite a bit to get it. But Colorado hybrids seem to be "worth" more then they are further east, so we shopped 10 states on craigslist until we found the right one for us.

When using the NADA, do not include things that come standard on that particular camper. A furnace, fridge, jacks, hot water heater, etc. are not options, so do not check them. An AC and awnings are an option.

The one suggestion I can add to the ones already given is to sell it when people are looking. Around here trying to sell a trailer in the fall or winter or even early spring when nobody is looking is very difficult, unless you are willing to sell cheap. The people that are shopping the showrooms with their high prices will find your unit more affordable especially if your unit is super clean.
