Our TT is a 3029W. Only thing that makes sense is the W for Windjammer.
We found out it is really 35 feet long when it was new and we tried to back
into a 32 foot long pad. Didn't quite fit...

Mine is a 241QBXL 24' box, Queen Bed. Not sure what the XL is.

Our Georgetown was called the 330TS, which they figured was 33 feet with triple slides.

Well……..the motorhome was actually 35’ bumper to bumper if you wanted to fit between the trees. Best I could figure it meant there was 33’ of living space from the dashboard to the back wall, because the front seats could rotate facing backwards. The front 2’ were dashboard over the engine compartment.

It’s their machines, their rules, they can call it whatever they want.

The XL stands for “Extra Light” after you opened your wallet to purchase the rig.

KRLOK and Others

I've only been RV'ing for two years but have wondered the same thing. Evidently, the alpha-numeric model numbers are not according to an industry standard or mandate, but left to the manufacturers' preference. That said, it does appear the numbering loosely follows some sort of conventional pattern. So my Forest River 37KRLOK is an inhabitable box 37 feet in length, without the hitch; and has a "Kitchen" entry (midship), "Rear Living" with and "Outdoor Kitchen." It seems Forest River tries to generally follow their trends with regard to other models as well.

Rockwood 2612

My TT is a Rockwood 2612WS, this imply my TT is 26' 12" long??? Maybe Rockwood as an aversion to odd numbers?
WS means in this case Wardrobe slide.

Or since it has two slides 1 is living area slide and slide 2 is the wardrobe slide?

Be honest never gave it much thought, until this thread come up.

As you see there is no set rule for the numbering/lettering.

Our Flagstaff 5th wheel is a 8509IKBS.
The 8509 means nothing towards the length. It is simply a model number.
The IKBS stands for Island Kitchen Bed Slide.

Our Flagstaff 832IKBS TT has a 32' box with Island Kitchen Bed Slide, as far as the "8", it might mean the box inside width is 8'.

Ours is a Cedar Creek 38FLX. The FL is front living room and don’t know what the X means. It is listed as 43ft 6 inches long.

The letters can mean different things. I think there's a thread (or post) here that guesses at some of them.
For Instance;
BH, usually means Bunk House
RK, usually means Rear Kitchen
SS Usually means Super Slide
Ad Nauseum.

My KZ270THLE is 27 feet inside measurement. The outside is just under 28 feet. TH=toy hauler, LE is the 'special ' accessories.

I don't think there is any set standard from the manufacturers.
