wind and trees don't mix.

Had a wind storm pass through the CG on Sat. Got a call from the CG owners telling me to get to the CG asap. We not have a new skylight in the bedroom slide. A large branch broke off the tree beside the camper and a 6 in diameter branch came crashing through the slide roof. The only good thing about the situation is it happened during the day and not at night. The branch penetrated the roof and came to rest on my pillow. It i had been sleeping my head would have stopped the branch. Now we are waiting for the insurance adjuster to come on Monday. Looks like we will need a whole new slide. The branch damaged the roof, and took the cabinets off the wall pulling the paneling off with it. Now I will find out how well the policy I have is. time to have another beer.
