it's not 'fake news'.
there's a reason why those light-weight aluminum cookware were phased out. Modern cooker never have large surfaces of aluminum in direct contact with food.

However, the key word there is: "excessive" amount of of aluminum could have adverse health effects.
A few burgers every now and then is probably fine.
